Secret Team

Thanks, Secret Team! Let me load up on those bics. Wish Lucy and Ethel had some retarded (yet devastatingly good looking...yeah right, hee hee) friend that they yanked along despite her grumbling that it wasn't worth it. Guess these guy's'll have to do. (I want to be the one that looks like he's about to grab a handful of Pop's ass. Now that's just good marketing. Magical, homoerotic sex sells. I kid you not!)

I'm real glad to know I have my gallies.

Later amendment:
Okay, you're right. You were much better at this than I. For the record, though not necessarily visually indicative...from left to right, Buttercup (lola), Blossom (p), and Bubbles (n). I like this picture. It makes us look like the asskickers we are. Let's go take some names!

As I said to N last night? We are Lucy & Ethel & Thelma & Louise, we just trade off roles all the time. :D

Trust me, lola, you don't want to be Ethel to my Lucy. I dragged Lucy into some weird shit in our times together. Poor Ethel was so happy to go marching right along with me too.

But I LOVE the Powerpuff girls!!!!

"Empowerment" is a common subtext in many recent cartoons geared to girls. The popular series Powerpuff Girls also plays on common gender stereotypes: the “sweet little girls" also happen to be "butt-kicking superheroes." In this series, a professor who tries to create a perfect little girl by mixing sugar, spice and everything nice, ends up with more than he expects when a dash of Chemical X falls into the mix. The result is the Powerpuff Girls: three "angelic" five-year-olds who fight crime with their super strength, super speed and laser vision. Each character reflects common female cartoon stereotypes: one's smart, one's sweet and one's a tomboy — but together they use the “wham-bam” action traditionally reserved for male superheroes. Their motto: Saving the world before bedtime." ( http://www.media-awareness.ca/english/resources/educational/handouts/gender_portrayal/sailor_moon.cfm?RenderForPrint=1)

Cheers,

poiesia aka Blossom

P.S. I'm ordering more Bic Lighters. Lots more. :)
